Happy New Year from the Franco Namibian Cultural Center (FNCC)! We are delighted to welcome you back as the Centre officially reopens on Monday, January12th.

The FNCC - Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre celebrates 25 years since the inauguration of its iconic building. From 1-5 December 2025, we are inviting you to celebrate this journey and everyone who's been part of it, or who wants to become part of it.

The Kalahari International Festival of Arts (KIFA) is a multidisciplinary celebration of creativity, culture, and community — bringing together artists, performers, and audiences from Namibia and around the world under the inspiring theme “Imagine Namibia.”

Now in its seventh edition, Katutura Fashion Week (KFW) returns with an inspiring celebration of Namibian creativity, diversity, and cultural pride. Founded with the vision to empower local designers and promote sustainable fashion, KFW has become one of Namibia’s most anticipated creative industry events — showcasing the vibrant heartbeat of Katutura and its influence on national and continental style.

The FNCC, in partnership with the French Embassy in Namibia, is proud to have supported ILO Animation Studio in representing Namibia at the Création Africa Forum 2025, held from October 16–18 in Lagos, Nigeria.

This September, the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) and the Namibian Arts Association proudly present a series of vibrant activities in honor of Namibian Heritage Week, bringing together art, culture, and community under the theme “Torchbearers of Our Heritage​​​​​​​.”

Join us for an unforgettable two-day dance experience in Windhoek on 6–7 September 2024, featuring an exclusive workshop and a live performance by the renowned French dance company Dans6T.

As we approach the end of the year and celebrate the FNCC’s vibrant journey until December 6th, our calendar is packed with unforgettable events blending art, music, cinema, fashion, and dialogue. Join us for a season that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and cultural connection.

The Namibian Lesbian Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring the lives, voices, and experiences of lesbian women in Namibia. Held in Windhoek, the festival provides a vibrant and inclusive space for connection, expression, and empowerment.

The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre is proud to present NaJah as the featured artist for this month’s Acoustic Friday.
