World Music Day 2026
Inspired by the global celebration of World Music Day on 21 June, the FNCC expands this moment into a full week of performances, workshops, and cultural exchange. Communities in Windhoek, Gobabis, Otavi, Rundu, Katima Mulilo, and the Hardap Region will come together to celebrate the power of music to connect people and cultures.
Throughout the week, audiences can experience a vibrant programme featuring live concerts, collaborative performances, and community workshops highlighting Namibia’s diverse musical landscape—from jazz and folk traditions to contemporary African sounds.
