About NaJah
NaJah, born Johanna Nangula Mavulu, is a singer-songwriter from Windhoek, Namibia. Known as the soulful voice of Namibia, she blends rich melodies with emotional storytelling. Her music journey began at the College of the Arts in Windhoek in 2013, where she majored in Acoustic Guitar and Music Theory.
Musical Style & Instruments
NaJah’s sound is deeply rooted in acoustic and indigenous Namibian traditions, infused with elements of jazz, soul, and folk. She is a versatile musician, proficient in instruments such as the marimba, mbira, blues harmonica, djembe, ngoma drums, and the indigenous bow and string instrument, the Uhadi.

In 2022, she released her debut album Too Blessed To Stress, a soulful collection reflecting her diverse influences and storytelling ability. The album is available on Donlu Africa.
