This year we are celebrating the 22nd anniversary of World Music Day (WMD) in Namibia with concerts all throughout the country!

As tradition on throughout the years this world recognized day aims to solstice communities from around the world to celebrate Music. The concerts are free of charge and the participating artists from all walks of life perform for free, just for love of music.

The one day music festival is an excellent opportunity for both upcoming and established artists to showcase their talent to a large and diverse audience. Artists of all genres are invited to perform for the crowds.
During the day in Windhoek, a food and crafts market will be held, with activities for children, making it a perfect family outing!

This year’s World Music Day is possible thanks to the generous support of Bank Windhoek and Total Namibia, and in partnership with DB Audio and Fresh FM.
