The Creative Asylum Project stands as a robust studio space designed to nurture collaboration, discourse, and self-expression for young Namibian creatives. It serves as a sanctuary, free from judgment, where artists can freely explore their creativity, meditate, and organize innovative events. Central to its mission is providing a safe space for individuals to authentically express themselves and overcome barriers such as creative block, lack of resources, and societal misunderstanding. In collaboration with Start Art Gallery, The Creative Asylum Project is proud to present a group exhibition like no other. Instead of merely showcasing final artworks, this exhibition places the painting process at its core, inviting the audience to witness the evolution of each piece first-hand. By spotlighting the journey from conception to completion, the exhibition aims to break down barriers between artists and their audience, fostering dialogue and mutual understanding.

The exhibition promises to challenge traditional notions of art, inviting audiences to rethink their understanding of creativity and the artistic journey. Through this innovative approach, The Creative Asylum Project and Start Art Gallery seek to bridge the gap between artists and their communities, fostering a culture of appreciation and support for Namibian creativity. Join us as we embark on this ground-breaking artistic journey and witness the power of creativity to inspire, heal, and unite.
