Conference: Human Origin in Namibia

Looking for other cradles of humankind in Southern Africa
Tuesday, 5 December 2017 at 18:00

Entrance:
Free

The cradle of humankind is in Africa. But there are vast areas of the continent still unexplored by paleoanthropologists. An international team of researchers is in search of ancient Namibian caves that could have preserved a fossilized page of our evolutionary history. Join this team of scientists as they take you through their discoveries in the north-east of Namibia, in the Aha Hills, on the border with Botswana, of vestiges of ancient Hominids that has led them to believe the area could potentially be another cradle of humankind, just like East Africa.

Discover the specificities of Namibia that led the scientists to research that specific area, as well as their findings throughout their mission.

The scientists will be available for a Q&A session after the conference. Don’t miss this interesting conversation on Human Origin in Namibia!
