Sustainable Development in Namibia in view of COP 21

This park talk centers around implementing the Paris agreement following COP21 and COP22.

In Paris, at the COP 21 (chaired by France until November 2016), the world has taken a decision to commit fully against Climate Change by signing the first international climate agreement ever (the Paris Agreement) with the aims of keeping Global Warming under 2°C, discarding Green House Gases emissions as well as industrial waste products.

Organized by the Embassy of France in Namibia, with the generous support from the Franco-Namibian company InnoSun, and RMB Namibia, this session will explore the outcome of COP21, while offering in-depth discussions on both achievements and obstacles, and encouraging the sharing of experiences, as well as highlighting the opportunities emerging from COP22 for this resolute fight against climate change.
