This month, archeologist and professor-researcher of Prehistory at the Museum of National History in Paris, Dr. David Pleurdeau, and team, talk about the arrival of pastoral practices and first pastoralists in Southern Africa, 2 to 3000 years ago. 

Since 1947, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Consultative Committee for Archaeological Research Abroad have called on archaeologists to conduct archaeological missions around the world every year.  

This year, the initiative, Archéomonde, was launched to present to the public the many missions that it co-funds across the globe.
