In Memory of H.E Dr. Sam Nujoma
His commitment to this partnership was demonstrated when he signed the creation of the Franco-Namibian Cultural Center shortly after Namibia’s independence, on July 31, 1991.
His personal presence was instrumental in the history of the FNCC:
• On June 25, 1998, he laid the first stone of the current FNCC building in Windhoek’s city center alongside then-French President Jacques Chirac.
• On December 1, 2000, he honored the FNCC once again by attending its official opening.
Today, as we bid farewell to this remarkable leader, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the people of Namibia. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
Rest in peace, Dr. Sam Nujoma. 🕊️
