The odyssey of Hassan, a Moroccan immigrant who, after thirteen years in Spain, can no longer find a job and decides to return home. He invests all his savings in a second-hand tractor to make a living in Morocco and decides to drive it all the way home. When he arrived in Spain, he had nothing, but now he returns with his only possession: El Rayo (The Thunderbolt).
