For the celebrations of the Independence of Namibia, the Art in the House Namibia exhibits a collection of works focusing on and hailing Namibian Printmaking.

Artists include: Alpheus Mvula, Papa Shikongeni and Joseph Madisia. Joining them will be Shiya Karuseb, Samuel Mbingilo, Christian Viambungu, and Martin Scotti, all three former apprentices of Namibia’s visual art icon, John Muafangejo. As well as teachers and artists in the technique: Andrew van Wyk, Cost Shipenga, and many more.

The extraordinary exhibition will equally focus on inspire appreciation for Namibian art, promote the unique technique of contemporary printmaking in Namibia and see reflect how it has developed right through the John Muafangejo era up until present.
