As part of the 5th EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) Film Festival, the FNCC presents:

Jó is a delinquent teenager who grew up in a troubled neighborhood of Lisbon. Abandoned by his mother as a child, he is expelled from home by his father on his 18th birthday. Not having another place to stay, he eventually settles on the rooftop of an old lady’s apartment. When Rose discovers she has a new tenant on the terrace, instead of calling the police, she decides to offer him the affection he never had.  Against all odds and her family's will, they become each other’s best company, and begin an unlikely but unforgettable friendship.
