In the wake of the World Day for International Justice on July 17th, and echoing the attacks that targeted the French editorial board of Charlie Hebdo in January 2015, the FNCC is hosting this fascinating exhibition on freedom of expression.

The French Institute, in collaboration with the French newspaper Courrier International, presents an exhibition of press cartoons which aims at illustrating how freedom of expression is in fact upheld on all continents. Fifty cartoonists from 45 nationalities recreate what freedom of expression actually means through different topics such as corruption, women’s rights, climate change, racism…

Join us for this insightful exhibition that offers an understanding of how freedom of speech and artistic expression can be used all around the world to foment a social and political debate.
