The  "Bellowing  Mind" is young Tuli Mekondjo’s first solo exhibition. Tuli-Mekondjo is a mental struggle of the self. As a self-taught visual artist whose work arises from a personal vision of exploration of the mind and trauma.  In her work figments of unresolved pain are waiting to be re-born, grow and face ''death''. The works presented are infused with a sense of confusion and anguish with moments of beauty, clarity and optimism. In its layers of memories, visions and associations are intertwined, pushing themselves to the fore, before fading out and twisting into other forms of thought. Traumatic reenactments emerge on constant compulsive repetitions in an attempt to revisit the unresolved miseries trapped unconsciously.
