About the Band
Founded in Windhoek on 25 September 2000 by the late Vicent Kabamba, along with Sergio Lukengu (Band Leader) and Fanfan Mandende (Vice Leader & PR Officer), 4x4 Too Much Power has become a powerhouse of Namibian music. Known for their explosive energy, captivating stage presence, and vibrant fusion of African rhythms with contemporary beats, the band is more than music—it’s a movement for love, unity, and cultural pride.

Over the years, 4x4 Too Much Power has graced some of the biggest stages in Namibia, including FNCC, NTN, The Warehouse, Sam Nujoma Stadium (Inauguration), MTC 081 Festival, NUST and UNAM Festivals, Rundu and Ongwediva Expos, Okahandja Expo, and major celebrations like Africa Day and the 50th Anniversary of Nigeria. Their music has brought life to countless concerts, charity events, and cultural gatherings across the country.

The band has released multiple albums and collaborated with top Namibian artists such as Gazza, Tate Buti, Sunny Boy, and D-Naff, leaving an indelible mark on the nation’s music heritage.
